The MANDATORY Spring Marching Camp & Picnic will be held on Saturday, May 17. The marching camp will commence at 9 am at NSHS with all students meeting in the theater to begin. The annual picnic will follow at 1 pm in Josey Ranch Park...all members and families are invited to attend!

Tickets are now on sale for the annual Lake Highlands HS Festival of Drums & Bugles. This is a huge annual event for Drum Corps International in the Dallas area and it features some of the world's best marching organizations including: the Blue Devils, the Blue Knights, the Madison Scouts (we have 3 NSHS members marching!), the Phantom Regiment, and the Santa Clara Vanguard. Congratulations to Steven Schrag and Kenny Long for being named as National Merit Finalists and to Sanah Ladhani, Alex Gonzales, and Michael Rose for being named National Merit Commended students. Kenny Long also received aperfect score of '36' on the ACT test...unbelievable! Also, congratulations to Chris Ayala and Alex Gonzales for being named National Hispanic Recognition Scholars. These students placed in the top 50,000 test scores out of over 1.4 million PSAT tests taken in the junior year! They show why NSHS Band students are the best!
